Summary

During the Modern Era important agreements were reached that almost definitely delineated boundary lines between Alava and Navarre, whilst also serving as the basis for peace in conflictive areas of the Navarrese - Araba border, hit by robberies, looting and murders. These agreements were reviewed, were confirmed and were the cause of new jurisdictional conflicts that have lasted until the present day.
