Summary

The last quarter of the 20th century has meant for Navarre the consolidation of the process of industrialisation begun by mid century. This has also meant progressively facing the unavoidable challenge of innovation, as key factor of competitiveness in an increasingly globalised market. In order to do so, the administration has been especially close to corporate reality, together with technically and trained personnel that is capable of approaching new technological challenges, and an important network of universities and technological centres, and, finally, a policy of active and pioneering corporate promotion.
