Summary

The success of mankind has been its capacity to develop technologies with which it has been possible to devote a constantly greater amount of natural production towards its own benefit. Such an application of increasingly effective technologies has derived in environmental impact. The industrial revolution for example, had its impact in the Territories of Biscay and Gipuzkoa bringing about high densities of population, atmospherical pollution, water and soil pollution. Research dedicated to obtaining more efficiency, a higher product longevity, the possibility of recycling coincide with gains in competitiveness
