Summary

The chronological boundaries are situated about the middle of XVIth and XIXth Centuries. The following aspects are contemplated: 1.- The organ. Desings of the organ, names of organ builders and sculptors are included. The repairings accomplished in 1593 by Juan de la Fuente (organ builder of Sangüesa), in 1726 by Felipe and Francisco Urarte (organ builders), stand out. 2.- The Musical Chapel and the organists, dating the most ancient of them from 1569. The different contract conditions, as well as results of examinations are pointed out. 3.- Episcopal dispositions of XVIth, XVIIth, and XVIIIth centuries about music. 4.- Religious festivities, giving details about the public entertainments held for those occasions, especially in XVIIIth century. 5.- Chorus books, indicating inventories and copiers? names. The work is completed with some notes and the transcription of 33 documents
