Summary

This communication, returned especially as from testamentary sources constitute an approach to the attitudes towards death amongst the average nobility in Navarre in the 16th and 17th centuries. In it, references made to the wide range of resources that the Catholic church placed at the disposal of bequeathers in order to try to obtain eternal salvation, and how they made use of such resources.
