Summary

The rural environment has certain characteristics and particularities that require the adaptation of the habitual methodology in terms of the implantation of Local Agenda 21. The motivation and methodology used in making the diagnosis are summarised, together with the results obtained in the Local Agenda 21 implantation process in the municipalities of Alkiza, Albiztur, Bidegoian and Larraul brought together in the Udaltalde 21 pilot project.
