Late Modernity Basque society is multicultural (due to the presence of immigrants, whether from other regions or from other countries) in its public spaces, in its everyday life, or during the local fiestas of its towns and cities. The study of multicultural fiestas takes us into the (re)construction of identity and otherness, of the new meaning of what is local in immigration neighbourhoods.
