Summary

This paper is intended as an approach to the Bandos Wars in the district of Markina, using information offered by published sources. Of these, especially noteworthy are two lawsuits sustained by the main lineages of the area that took place in the transit from the fifteenth to the sixteenth century, one with the council of Markina by the patronage of Santa Maria de Xemein, and the other with the monastery of Santa Maria de Cenarruza.
