Summary

Considering the difficulty that exists in the elaboration of a climatic chronostratigraph for Palaeolithic cultures, either because of the difficult correlation between the various indicators or because of a lack of quantification in climatic variations, we propose to carry out a quantitative measuring based on the a mended method by Palaeontologist H. Hokr. The method is based on five basic climatic habitability parameters of current mammal species which thereinafter are applied to the fauna registered in the archaeological records.
