Summary

Within the corporate world: Intranet: (Mastering information is a new challenge for corporations in their quest for productivity): Definition: TCP-IP, no LAN or WAN but a worldwide global net and a wealth of information in various levels (text, fixed and animated images, hypertext connections, security: firewalls in prevention of what comes from outside, push or pull (should we go and get the information or should the information be automatically channeled to the user?). Search engines (where are we and what is going to happen over the 10 next years: intelligent agents, the electronic messages, groupware and workflow technology to improve the flows of systems: a new challenge, video within corporations. Outside the company: Internet and electronic trade: electronic currency. Two concepts: electronic falttery and Net command. Vision-conferences: "owner" (norm numerical technology), DVB: satellite transmission (MPEG-2, EutelSAT and Astra), of economic information (land liaison by satellite). New data: Internet and numerical technologies provide sufficient flexibility as a rule (real time and abolition of space), allowing for conversion into a world market (abolition of frontiers). Taking into account the economic system in the one which we move (capitalist liberalism) which are the consequences in the market of the work and, at the same time, in corporate structures?.
