Summary

This article deals with the relationship between militant students and their university studies. These relationships are becoming increasingly complex, because if the students´ militant commitments channel and determine their academic careers, they differ greatly in terms of academic year, university department and groups the students belong to. This tendency is verified in their personal work and in their relationships with the teachers, in their views concerning the university and its aims, and also in the meaning they give to their studies.
