Summary

This work has brought together a repertoire of voices from late-medieval documents that underlines several aspects of the history of the lexicon of Bizkaia: the presence of the Basque language in notary texts, the flow of the incorporation of linguistic loans from the Basque-Romanic space and the existence of lexical elements that are often shared with other northern dialectic levels.
