Summary

Lexicology is the study of the linguistic materials of a language. Language is dynamic and one of the most important parts is the existence of affixes that mean nothing by themselves, but combined with words have a double morphologic and semantic effect. Lexicography is a branch of Lexicology. The current lexicographical problem is to create a rational Basque dictionary that would contribute to the creation of literature in all branches of knowledge, but this task is difficult since one is to collect and classify all the material
