Summary

Urban areas are experiencing changes in the age of Post modernity. These changes become evident if we pay attention to a particular kind of urban space: the so called no-place. A good example of no-place is the shopping centre. Shopping centres are multiplying everywhere, conforming new attitudes, visual overviews and ways of living of the city. In Pamplona/Iruña, its development has been slow. This study analyses if the shopping centres have been developed as no-places in Pamplona/Iruña and if so, which can be the consequences on the city and on the perception of the city by its inhabitants.
