Summary

Techno-economic globalisation is contaminating and hindering political-juridical ; globalisation and is increasing the characteristics of the society of risk. The increase in the difficulties in recognising immigrants´ rights and the barriers against the access of citizens (both in the EU and in Spain), as well as the devaluation of the right to asylum all constitute a test that allows us to perceive a dangerous revitalisation of the demands of the State of Law (Lochak) and a situation of democratic schizophrenia (Colle) that it is necessary to correct.
