Summary

The prevalence of acute mountain sickness (AMS) and the effects of this on the headache, especially above 4.500 m is noticeable. Also, the AMS if it is not properly controlled can lead to twodiseases, the pulmonary edema and cerebral edema. In this experimental research the benefits intermittent training in hypoxia preconditioning before attending high mountains are showed, The AMS was significantly decreased (p <0.01) and also were observed significant decreases in SaO2%, good for health.>
