Summary

The introduction of this session on musical education presents the general objectives and approaches the reality of the centres in charge of the education of amateur musicians (general education centres and music schools) and of professional musicians (superior music centres and universities). The LOGSE law attributes to each certain specific functions that need to be analysed in order to emphasise their specificity and to obtain the necessary complementarity between them.
