Summary

In the following article, by means of reflexion on the personal and professional trajectory of musician Mikel Laboa, the author proposes to carry out an approach to the creative process. In this sense, the 1958-1978 period is considered; these are the years in which Laboa presented the three lines of work he would later develop. We consider the following decades were decades of reaffirmation. Such lines of work were the interpretation of traditional songs, turning poems from various authors into music as well as the experimental field. This article pretends to explain the fine details behind such work, stressing the renovating proposals that Laboa offered to Basque songs by means of his musical work.
