Summary

There have lately been two important changes in education: the new baccalaureate and compulsory secondary education between the ages of 12 and 16. These variations have produced a series of changes which are to be studied to amend their possible defects. Currently a new didactic model is necessary and this paper is about the way it is studied and taught. A small explanation is given on several didactic models used in the teaching of sciences, as well as a proposal for use of materials in the physics and chemistry syllabus. To finish, examples are proposed of a part of a chemistry didactic unit in which the characteristics of some chemical elements are commented as well as Mendeleiev´s classification
