Summary
José de Orueta was a permanent member of Eusko Ikaskuntza from its foundation. He was born in Bilbao, he wrote "Reports by a man from Bilbao". He was dedicated to the economy although he was even interested by politics, and he became a deputy in the Central Parliament. He also wrote "Fueros (Special Jurisdictions) and Autonomy.
