Summary

This work is focused on explaining the sporadic but constant presence of written documentation and Basque in various Basque Country Archive funds, mainly dated as from the mid-18th century, in reasoned form and with the appropriate historical contextualisation. This becomes evident in the two texts that make up the axis of this work.
