Summary

The new technologies of information and communication generate a new social space, cyberspace, that can be considered as an emerging property of the system of such technologies. In the mentioned electronic space the idea is to take remote action in the network, and not just limit oneself to communication or looking for information. This is how the challenge of organising electronic space and of establishing social contracts within it is outlined, expanding the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights to this new social space.
