Summary

This article studies the forage offer and the use of pastures by cattle in the Gorbeia Natural Park. According to the results, these mountain pastures have a considerable heterogeneity, both in terms of space and time, in the quantity and nutritional quality of the grasses. This fact, together with the physical characteristics if pasture zones, exerts its influence on the use of animals.
