Summary

This work is about the stay of the poet Pedro Maria Otaño in San Sebastián (1890-1898) after coming from Argentina for the second time. It includes a classification of poems written in this period, followed by a study on the participation of the poet in the Floral Games, his contacts with some renowned poets and his relationships with the winners of such contests. Due to the characteristics of such poetry, special attention is paid to the legend poems of Otaño, which were awarded prizes in the southern Basque Country.
