Summary

The present work is an analysis of two Basque christian groups, secular lay people and priests, representing the plurality of the Catholic Church in the Basque Country. It is a systematic historical and sociological study of their positions as reflected in their written documents on their relationships within the Church and on the controversial events of the recent Basque history.
