Summary

The principal newspapers edited in Spain (El Mundo, ABC, El País, La Vanguardia and El Periódico de Catalunya) have had online issues for the last two years. They perceived the need to be present in the Internet althoug this implied a certain degree of uncertainty for the printed editions of such newspapers. During this time they have searched for the best to offer the online users more complete electronic products, with an easier access and also looking for advertising formulas that could produce some benefits.
