Summary

The objective of this paper is to explain that the principle of ecolinguistics can be useful in the idiomatic management of companies. I first will make a short diagnosis about the situation of minority languages in the globalization era and I will describe what ecolinguistics is. Next, in the context of the corporate social responsibility, I will clarify the reasons and means to include the concept of sustainable development in the idiomatic management of companies. Lastly, I will introduce some guidelines and theoretical and practical suggestions for internationalized companies.
