Summary

Among the measures that criminal courts can take with respect to violence against women, we will examine the so-called "Restraining Order", particularly its peculiarities in cases of gender violence, so as to evaluate its practical applications and, insofar as this is possible, its effectiveness as a tool to secure the protection and emancipation of women.
