Summary

The author studies the sentences passed in Donostia - San Sebastián during 1975 by each of the three Instruction Courts and the by the Provincial Court of Gipuzkoa. The results raise considerable doubt on the validity of the penal judicial system. The Administration of Justice was found to be too slow. Most offences were against property, followed by recklessness and offences against persons. The author introduces the characteristics of the penal system in Donostia - San Sebastián
