Summary

The aim of this paper is to analyze the codeswitching between Basque and Spanish. We have based ourselves on a corpus of conversations recorded by young Basque speakers in daily and informal situations. The motivation for codeswitching is due to different causes, one of them is the wish to provide expressivity or emotivity toone´s speech and to point out some features of young identity, and group role.
