Summary

August Christian Fischer was a German traveler that came to Spain between 1797 and 1798, wrote a book that has been translated into English and French. Wilhelm von Humboldt was asked to write on the Basque language by Fischer. Humboldt says that Basque does not derive from the Latin, after which he explains the structure of the language
