Summary

In a written description dating back to the 6th century BC mention is made to three sites of the Spanish coast with a shrine erected in honour of Venus. An expedition was organized to find one of them, which was situated somewhere around Irún. An ancient chapel dedicated to San Telmo was found, but once the diggings were carried out, no ancient remains were found
