Summary

Humboldt is interest in the Basque Country from a "Comparative Anthropology" that accepts and developes the indiviluaty of differente people and countries. He was mainly interested in the physiognomy, the history, the folklore and the socio-political organization of the Basque people, but he realized that he had to concentrate himself in the language so he dedicated himself to deeply study the Basque language
