Together to Humboldt´s known facets as founder of the University of Berlin, as politician, author, translator, etc., it has to be pointed out his great contribution to Linguistics. His contribution can be summarized in three key ideas: the consideration of each language as a linguistic cosmo-view, the consideration of language as energy and the concept of the internal structure of the language
