"Euskaragaz egizu Match", 2nd session

As we have recently seen, despite the fact that knowledge of Basque is one of the highest in recent history among young people, its use in the informal sphere is in frank and disturbing decline. why? Theories and hypotheses are varied.

Eusko Ikaskuntza, sponsored by the BBK Kuna, will work with a group of young people, Basque and non-Basque, working on prejudices and stereotypes towards Basque, to change their vision and change their relationship with the language. A group of 20 young people between the ages of 16 and 25, balanced and diverse in terms of gender, origin and knowledge of Basque, will work in 4 sessions.

Thanks to agile, participatory and fun methodologies in this pilot experience, the participants will be able to learn to design cooperative initiatives. It will prove not refute the current hypotheses about the use of Basque among young people and, in addition, knowledge, cohesion and coexistence among young people from Bilbao and Bizkaia will be promoted.
