Nuevas estelas vascas en Placentia-Terranova, Nueva lectura

We present here the Basque tombstones of the 17th century, found in Placentia Newfoundland, Canada. Some of these stones were studied in the 19th century, without counting on current means. We have added two new tonbstone to that study. These stone remains of the tombs of Basque fishermen are possibly the oldest monuments that Europeans left in Canada.
