Terms and conditions
CANDIDATURES
Any organisation outside the Basque Country that implements Basque language promotion promotion can win it, despite having already been awarded with it in previous editions.
Federations shall not apply for the award, but it is possible for the entities on it.
By promotion we mean the dissemination of the Basque language and its expressions: teaching, written literature, oral literature, cinema and creative work.
Candidates will be evaluated in terms of their context and resources in each case.
PRIZE
Public recognition and an iron and steel reproduction of the anagram designed for the ENE Prize by artist Nestor Basterretxea.
JURY
A Jury designated by Eusko Ikaskuntza will select the winner.
The Jury will take into account both quantitative and qualitative aspects, and any innovations in terms of promotion methods.
The Jury may decide not to award the prize if it deems prudent to do so.
PRESENTATION OF APPLICATIONS
Organizations wishing to participate will have to explain their activities through the form provided for that purpose. In it, there are a number of sections in which further information is asked, and a blank space is enabled to add any other information that may be considered relevant. Just by having an email can the report be completed.
In addition, positive consideration will be given to applications in Basque.
If in addition to the report you want to attach additional information (eg photography) you will have to sent by email to the email address komunikazioa@eusko-ikaskuntza.eus referring to the entity.
DEADLINES
The deadline to send nominations is 15th November 2017. All applications should be received by this date.
The decision of the jury will be made public on 3rd December 2017, the International Basque Language Day.
Any incidence about the prize will be resolved within Eusko Ikaskuntza.
