This autobiography collects recollections, experiences, results... accumulated over the years - especially centred in the territory of Alava - devoted to the research of our remote past. In a certain manner, this is a testimony that offers an overview on the organisation of archaeological activities in Alava over the last 45 years, apart from other activities which are also of a cultural type, and which are intimately related to the life of the author.
