The deadline for submitting applications for the Eusko Ikaskuntza-LABORAL Kutxa Award, as well as for creative or research projects by young people, is about to open.
Since 1995, the Eusko Ikaskuntza-LABORAL Kutxa Award has recognised the most outstanding CVs for their contribution to the development of the Basque Country in the areas of Humanities, Culture, Arts and Social Sciences. Applications may be submitted either on an individual basis or by university, scientific and cultural entities. The evaluation jury will be made up of the president of the awarding entities, representatives of the seven universities in the Basque region and the management of Musikene. A single prize of 20,000 euros will be awarded.
On the other hand, for the sixth consecutive year, the Eusko Ikaskuntza-LABORAL Kutxa Gazte Saria competition is being held for creative or research projects by young people under 35 years of age in the same areas as the previous year. The suitability of the proposals, their innovative nature, their current status and future prospects, the use of the Basque language and the gender perspective will be assessed. The prize amount is 6,000 euros.
In both cases, the application period will open on February 1 and end on March 31 .
