Summary

After the recent publication of a compilation monograph of the historical texts in Basque from the civil administration and after completing that work, we are now offering an overview on the corpus of documents which is part of our historical legacy. We are also including a series of conclusions derived from the exhaustive knowledge thereof. Among such conclusions we would like to emphasise the determination of the various schools of thought in this field, and a commentary on the process that we see is necessary to increase the number of documents known. Together with this we publish two series of as yet unpublished historical civil correspondence.
