Summary
Although it is often said that contemporary art has always been in crisis it must be remembered, unfortunately, that this phrase has become reality in the last few years. But the purpose of this article is not only to analyse the phenomenon of the last few years but to propose a different consideration, from another point of view, starting from the point that art has suffereed the crisis from long before and that latest events, having aggravated the situation, did not cause it, because the crisis was somehow intrinsic in contemporary art.
