Summary

An analysis is made of the chronology and characteristics of early agriculture in the coastal territory of the Basque Country. With the data that we are currently handling, we can say that the first crops -wheat and barley- existed in this area since at least the V millennium B.C. An indication is made of the least well-known issues (the relative importance of agriculture and open-air deposits, among others).
