Summary

There is evidence of symptoms of exhaustion of the current social and economic model, which generates basic externalities of unsustainability. The European countries of reference confront this challenge, which is both integral and transversal, from an effective leadership, which is not perceived in the Basque Country, managing well-being and not growth, and recurring to interventionism, in the context of which taxations strives to balance externalities and avoid signals to manage a more sustainable demand.
