Summary

Following the debate on "Security in the Supply" (2001), the Commission initiated a series of policies and instruments: legislation and technological and non-technological programs. The instruments work in a non-integrated manner, being the basis for intelligent energy. This intervention will strive to explain the instruments, their interaction, their application on demand and the interactions between supply/demand. It will also cover the concept of intelligent energy.
