Summary

The Spanish Constitution recognizes the right of literary, artistic, scientific and technical creativity. The authorities are responsible for ensuring this right. It is licit to confront those who infringe intellectual property rights of authors and prevent those who infringe these rights from getting rich unjustly. With regard to monitoring compliance with intellectual property rights, it is possible to point out regulations regarding remuneration for private copying and protection of intellectual property rights in the digital field.
