Summary

Between 1975 and 1981, Ajuriaguerra carried out ground breaking teaching and research on the development of babies with a multidisciplinary approach and following a longitudinal observational method. I am in a position to describe such work as I was directly involved in several of these research projects at this time. I wish to emphasize their scientific, humanistic and poetic character.
