Summary

Under this title the author approaches the apparent shortage fishing and seafood resources in the river mouths of Galicia as the necessary condition for the installation of various administrative-bureaucratic measures by the autonomous government. The author then analyses, from the perspective of the sociology of knowledge and that of anthropology, how this shortage is a "technical-ideological" criterion that identifies the traditional forms of work as dysfunctional, not very productive and destined to disappear.
