Summary

This motion pretends to be an instrument to facilitate a necessary discussion on social margination and exclusion in the Basque Country. It starts from an analysis on the historical and structural changes that allow us to contextualise the new processes of inequality and social exclusion that are taking place in the Basque Country as well as in the whole of Europe. There is also a reflection on the causes and factors that favour such processes, while advancing towards a diagnosis that is shared by various agents in Basque civil society. The motion concludes with proposals to analyse in-depth positive, active and critical processes of integration.
