Summary

In the following pages we propose a reflection on the horizon of expectations for the edition of Basque documentary heritage. In particular, we address the need to adopt philological editing criteria defined by scientific consensus, and which at thesame time respond to territorial peculiarities and to the incorporation of digital resources, such as the treatment of texts with mark-up standards.
