Summary

Changes of economic, social, cultural and other factors increased in the majority of countries energy, protein and fat intake, along with reduced energy output due to modifi ed professional and leisure time characteristics. Changes of dietary intake and lifestyle have not been in the industrially developed and developing countries homogenous, similarly as the overall increase of overweight and obesity prevalence.
